Rev. Klein was installed as Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in August of 2003. He was born and raised in Olathe, Kansas. He attended St. John's College in Winfield, Kansas, graduating in 1983. He then attended Concordia Seminary in St. Louis and received his Master of Divinity degree in 1987. Rev. Klein also received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2019.
Rev. Klein's first call was as Associate Pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel, Wisconsin. He served in that capacity until 1994 when he was called to be the Administrative Pastor. In September of 1997 Rev. Klein was installed as a Chaplain in the United States Navy. He served as Chaplain aboard the USS Vella Gulf (CG-72) from December of 1997 through June of 2000. From July 2000 to May 2003, he served as Chaplain at CREDO, Okinawa.
Rev. Klein is active in the Northfield community. He serves as a co-chair of Northfield's Beyond the Yellow Ribbon committee (https://www.northfieldbtyr.org/) and as the chaplain for Northfield's American Legion Post 84.
Rev. Klein married his wife, Amy, in August of 1990. They have been blessed with three children: Joel, Libby and Noah.
Rev. Boehme has been with Trinity Lutheran Church since 2003. After retiring, for a second time, he serves now as the Associate Pastor. Rev. Boehme is married to his wife Judy. Judy works with the music program at Trinity.
Lisa grew up in Wayzata, MN and graduated from Bemidji State University in 1985 with a 2 year Associates degree. She transferred to Concordia College, St. Paul and graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education with an emphasis in Youth Ministry. She has served at Immanuel Lutheran (Brownton, MN); Trinity Lutheran (Waconia, MN), Good Shepherd Lutheran (Turlock, CA), St. John’s Lutheran (Decatur, IL), Zion Lutheran (Hopkins, MN), and West Immanuel Lutheran (Osceola, WI). Lisa is a 2009 KINDLE (Karpenko Institute for Nurturing and Developing Leadership Excellence) Associate.
Lisa met Jeff Martinson in September 2013 and they were married in April 2015. Prior to moving to this area, they lived in Wanderoos, WI (rural Amery, WI).
In addition to really loving the Lord, serving Him and learning more about Him, Lisa enjoys time with family and friends and loves meeting people. She has attended 14 LCMS Youth Gatherings and has taken groups on many mission trip/servant events. In her ‘free time’ Lisa enjoy a wide array of indoor and outdoor activities: Crafting, Baking, Traveling, Downhill skiing, Snow tubing, Fishing, Hiking, Hunting, Jogging, Watching sports of all kinds, and Watching movies. She is proud to say that she has completed seven full marathons, two half marathons, and several 10 and 5k's
Dana Criswell joined the staff as Secretary to the Pastors in June 2016. She and her husband, Todd, became members of Trinity in 2010 after moving from Missouri. Dana and Todd have 3 daughters and two sons-in-law: Alexandra and Matthew, Elizabeth and Thomas, and Lillian.
