    2. Crafts and activities will be in the fellowship hall for everyone too!
    3. Are you interested in this????  Weather permitting, we’ll have a bonfire and you’ll be able to roast hot dogs and have chips too!  If the weather doesn’t allow for a fire, we’ll still have hot dogs, etc. in the fellowship hall.  If you think you’d stay for this, let me know.  We’d like to get a rough number of those who will be here.

Volunteers Needed for the Reformation Run and Party:  Run volunteers are needed again to make signs, put signs out on the route, staff the on-site registration table, and 6 individuals or groups to simply stand at and monitor the race intersections.  Party volunteers are needed to help the Board of Education with the various projects and games that will be offered during the run.  If you are interested in volunteering for the 5k or for the Party, please let Lisa know as soon as possible so we can plan efficiently.  A signup sheet is on the Youth Bulletin Board in the hallway for volunteers to sign up.

Student Art Contest sponsored by Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF).  This contest asks students to create an art piece that shows what “Only Jesus.  No Other Name” means to you.  Students from Kindergarten through College are eligible.  For more info or to submit your entry go to  All submissions must be postmarked by December 1, 2022 to be eligible.

FUEL Mystery Supper & Fun Night will be on Sunday, November 13 from 5:30-7:00pm.  You will be served supper but you don’t know what you are going to eat.  I promise that the food will be edible.  Since there are specific food items that will be served, I will need to have people sign up for this meal by November 9.  Please also let me know if there are any food restrictions (gluten free, dairy free, nut allergies, etc).  We will also have a devotion and, if time permits, some play time.  I could use a few additional adults to help in the kitchen.  Contact me if you are able to help.

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Packing will be on Sunday, November 20 tentatively set for 5:30pm at church.  I have attached the flyer that will be included in the monthly newsletter – this will help you with ideas of what to start collecting.  Additional details will be emailed to the youth as the date approaches.

DATE and TIME CHANGE:  FUEL Advent Event – Sunday, November 27 from 2:30-4:30pm.  This will be a two-part event for everyone – no matter how young, no matter how old.

·         Part One will be “The Manger Project” and will focus on Advent.  We will be making a manger and giving you at home devotions as well as a “Reverse Advent” project to work on throughout Advent.  Please sign for this part of the event up by Sunday, November 16 for this event.  There is a signup sheet on the bulletin board in the hallway.

·         Part Two will be “The Sandwich Project”.  We will be assembling sandwiches and packing them along with granola bars and juice boxes.  These will be donated to a group of Christians from Radiant Health who go out to the homeless camps in the Twin Cities every weekday.  Donations of sandwich baggies, bread, cheese, lunch meat, granola bars, and juice boxes are greatly appreciated!
