Younger Youth – Our youth age 9 and up are invited to all youth activities marked for “All Youth”.

STEWARDSHIP QUESTION: I’d love for all of our youth to answer this question: “What does STEWARDSHIP mean to me?” Please email or write your responses and turn them in by September 30.

Youth Sunday School Schedule – for students in grades 5 and up. We started watching “The Chosen” and will continue if there are people interested. I have a discussion guide for us to use after each episode. *It will be very helpful to start class a little early so we can get through an entire episode. I could use a fill-in leader on October 15.

Also, like the past couple of years, the older youth will be teaching a few of the Sunday School classes. This year we will be teaching on the 2nd Sundays: October 8, November 12, January 14, February 11, March 10, and April 14.

PARENTS AND HS YOUTH Mission Trip Discussion (Part 2) – September 24 from 7-8pm (Following the Youth FUEL Destination Unknown) Please come with your thoughts and ideas about the options and also about funding opportunities. Continue to pray for where God wants us to be in 2024 😊

CANCELLED: Trinity First Tiger Trek (4k or 8k on September 30) – Due to not enough pre-registrations, the organizers have cancelled this fundraising event. Please pray for the ministry at Trinity First.

Youth Making/Serving Supper to Families

  1. Planning for the supper will take place on Sunday morning during Sunday School, October 1. If you can’t make it but would like to offer some input, please email me.

  2. Cooking will begin at 4pm on Sunday October 15. Youth will be assigned a particular part of the menu.

  3. Supper will be served at 5:30pm. This is for any family member – grandparents, parents, and siblings. Please sign up ahead of time so we have enough food prepared. You can email me or put your name on the youth bulletin board in the hallway at church.

Reformation Run – Sunday, October 29 Plans are underway for the 3rd Annual Reformation Run! One small change is the addition of a 1k Walk option. We have some garden flags for you to display to help advertise the event. If you would like one, please contact Lisa. Stay later for a bonfire too! Volunteers are needed to manage traffic and runners at various intersections. Runners are also needed – pass the word! Register at https://runsignup.com/Race/MN/Northfield/TrinityReformationRun

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Drive will be starting soon but that doesn’t mean we can’t start collecting items now – check out the list on the youth bulletin board. Cash donations are also accepted. Youth will shop on Wednesday November 8 during their Wednesday Youth Night. Shoebox packing will take place on Sunday, November 12 from 5:30-7:00pm. Thanks again to Julianna Camareno and Bonnie Pape for coordinating this!

Music and Sports? If you participate in music or sports activities, please let me know. I’d love to get to your concert/recital or game/meet.
